MICROFINANCE EXPERTS: 2 FIELD-BASED POSITIONS (Gulu & Kapchorwa)

We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified business and management consulting firm that specializes in providing highly responsive technical assistance solutions to a diverse clientele. Our core areas of concentration include:

1. Financial Sector Development (Banking, Microfinance, SACCOs and VSLAs),
2. MSME Development and Corporate Business Expansion,
3. Socio-economic Development, and
4. Climate Finance and ESG.

We are currently seeking experienced microfinance experts to join our team on an 18-month framework agreement. Each will work with an assigned MFI to help it improve governance, financial management, operations and running of the overall business. The successful applicants will be graduates with a minimum of bachelor’s degree in in commerce, business administration/studies, accounting, finance, economics, Microfinance, statistics, agriculture or closely related discipline. They should have demonstrated experience working with microfinance institutions of tiers III and/ or IV.

In addition, suitable candidates will possess the following competencies and attributes:

1. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
2. Some practical experience in consulting
3. Aptitude in strategic planning, including business & financial analysis
4. Clean working record; no history of dismals due to dishonesty or incompetence
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
6. Presentable personality that conjures up respect and confidence
7. Age range: 26 to 45 years.

Those already living in either of the two districts will have added advantage.
