The Be-FINE 2 Project implemented by Grameen Foundation, GSMA, MTN and Nilecom aims to improve financial inclusion by increasing the level of awareness, access and uptake of digital financial services through the establishment of mobile money businesses and digital financial literacy training among the refugees and host community members in Bidi Bidi and Palorinya (Morobi), in the West Nile region of Uganda.
FRIENDS Consult, contracted by Global Systems for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA) to execute the midline and end line evaluations surveys of refuges and host communities in West Nile region of Uganda, concludes so. Inclusion of refugees and their host communities in the monetary, digital and real economy produces vital benefits for all.
