FRIENDS Consult Limited, a leading business and management consulting firm (incorporated in 1997) based in Kampala, Uganda, is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals to be considered for prequalification as Associate Consultants.

We seek to build a pool of experts to support our growing portfolio of assignments across Uganda and the region in the following areas:

  1. Financial Sector Development (Banking, Microfinance, SACCOs and VSLAs)
  2. Agribusiness and MSME Development
  3. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)
  4. Green/ Sustainable Finance
  5. Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
  6. Refugee Finance and Programming
  7. Agricultural Finance
  8. Carbon Profiling and Trading
  9. Fintech and Digital Financial Solutions
  10. Policy Analysis and Development
  11. Business Development Services (BDS)
  12. Artificial Intelligence
  13. Fund Management
  14. Oil & Gas
  15. Renewable Energy
  16. Climate Smart Agriculture
  17. Business Process Reengineering
  18. Business and Strategic Development
  19. Financial Modelling

Minimum Requirements:

  1. At least a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in the area of expertise.
  3. Demonstrated consultancy and/or project implementation experience with reputable organizations.
  4. Strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills.
  5. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  6. Clean working record; no history of dismissal due to dishonesty or incompetence
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
  8. Presentable personality that exudes respect and confidence
  9. Above average business instinct
  10. Age limit: 30 to 50 years.
