At FRIENDS Consult Ltd while we are in the business of delivering effective solutions to our clients, we are also very proud of our corporate citizenship. When BoU and Government needed to know whether there would be adequate market for Government securities to be traded via mobile phones, we were hired to conduct the market study. Using a combination of carefully selected research and analytical techniques, we conducted the national study that concluded that there would be clear effective demand, which though initially small relative to the economically active population, would grow with time. We are glad our recommendations are being implemented and soon Ugandans everywhere will be able to buy government securities on their mobile phones.
